If you're familiar with my work then chances are you discovered me because of this album. I released it in 2007 on Rawkus Records/Soulspazm. It got nominated for a Juno and set off my music career in a big way. I have never shared these sounds. It felt nostalgic (no pun intended) to go thru these sessions and mpc 2000 XL files. Shouts to Joe Nardone who mixed this record with me. Something so simple and satisfying about these dusty/dirty drum sounds that let you focus on beat making instead of tweaking.
